Cure Aniridia

Camilla Loughton, a great family friend chose to cycle 100 miles from Chadlington in the Cotswolds (quite hilly!) to Staffordshire for the campaign and raised a huge £618 and managed to still smile at the end of a long and tough ride!

Thompson Opticians very kindly offered to support our campaign after reading about it in the Journal newspaper. So far they have raised £1523.46 combined with Jane Hately completing the Northern Rock Cycle Challenge and Barbara Pilkington running the aerobathon at the Newcastle Centre for Sport. Marion Fleming General Manager at Thompson Opticians contacted us to let us know they had put collection boxes in all of their 27 branches across the North East! A superb and very kind effort, which is much appreciated!
